Volunteers Make Reunions Happen
Reunions are a time to catch up with life-long friends, remember your college days, and ponder how you got to where you are today. Reunion volunteers play a vital role in the success reunions. The College is committed to providing the guidance and tools to help make your reunion a success. But the secret is for you and your classmates to spread your support and enthusiasm for the College, Homecoming, and your reunion events.
Recruiting Reunion Volunteers for 2012
All class years ending in "2" and "7" are celebrating a reunion this year, as is Softball. If you'd like to volunteer for your reunion, please complete the volunteer application.
Reunions happen because volunteers reach out to classmates and personally invite them back to campus. In the words of Bruce Taylor '79, who led his class to a very successful and fun 30th reunion, "Helping to plan the reunion allowed me to get to know a couple of classmates that I did not know all that well while we were at the College."
Volunteering for your Reunion Committee is fun, easy, and can be done mostly over the phone and via email, so you don't need to be in the Chicago Area. The College provides many tools to take the guess-work out of planning.
Homecoming & Reunion Weekend 2012 is Thursday, October 4 - Saturday, October 6.
