In honor of 50 years of Psi Chi at Lake Forest College, we’ve decided to invite all of our former psychology majors back to campus for Homecoming 2010, October 7-9. Over the past 50 years, more than 550 students have been inducted into Psi Chi, the international honor society in psychology. In addition to catching up with friends, a number of Emeriti faculty have already committed to joining us.
Catch up with retired faculty members already committed to joining us: Profs. Phyllis Frankel, David Krantz, and Stephanie Riger. Plus you’ll meet our current faculty: Profs. Brekke, Dohrmann, Glassman, Guglielmi, Kelley, Long, Wentworth.
Homecoming 2010 will have a number of events that will highlight the work the Psychology Department is doing. Friday afternoon, as part of the Forester Symposim, we’ll pair a retired faculty member with a current faculty member to discuss timely topics in Psychology.
After Boomer’s Bash, when we celebrate as a community the opening of the new Recreation and Sports Center, the Psychology Department will have their own reunion with alumni, current students, current faculty and retired faculty in the Center for Chicago Programs (former Johnson Science Library). Plus, with it being Homecoming Weekend, you’ll have the chance to bump into faculty throughout the weekend.
Save the Date! We hope you will join us. As more information becomes available, it will be posted on the
Homecoming 2010 Web site
. Also, be sure to join our
Facebook Group for Lake Forest College Psychology Majors
