Regional Networks

Lake Forest College is all about helping you network with other alumni, parents, and friends of the College where you live and work. Help facilitate networking, special events, volunteer opportunities, and socializing with Foresters in your area.

Are you interested in leading a network in your area?

Facilitating a regional network is easy, and involves what Foresters do best: networking with each other.  Ideally, a network will serve as an extension of the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, helping the College connect with many more alumni, parents, and friends.  Below are simple steps you can take towards establishng a chapter in your area:

Identify lead volunteers

Even if you don't know other alumni in your area, the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations might be aware of others in your area that might have an interest in establishing a chapter.

Recruit volunteers to help in various capacities

We need people who can assist with:

  • Recruiting for admissions
  • Mentor students and young alumni
  • Raise awareness for the Fund for Lake Forest College
  • Encourage participation in local events and class reunions

Today, with the Internet, it's easier than ever to help the College from afar.

Schedule an event

Nothing says Network like action! As soon as you have the help of a few others, get an event scheduled and begin networking, socailizing and having fun like Foresters! The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is here to help you with your networking and event promotions.

Communicate with Alumni in your area

Build your network and stay in touch.  Be sure to use ForestersForever.com to facilitate communication by posting class notes, building photo albums, scheduling events, or sharing news in general.  The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations can help.
